passions and hobbies.
the prompt for day 09 of the joy of love is to document your loved one’s passions or hobbies. be sure to sign up to participate if you would like the pdf documents that contain the lessons/shot lists/tutorials that are given out each evening.

About my photo: willette is an architect (but switched careers several years ago when we had our son). I think that architects never lose the desire to design, improve upon existing designs, or to create. He got the sudden urge a few weeks ago to TOTALLY reconfigure our third floor – I’m talking moving walls, creating new spaces, etc. He asked “permission” at 9 am….by noon, his dad was over and they were removing all the existing walls on the third floor. LOVE this “hobby” of his to build and create. Photo settings: HORRIFIC lighting (in a hallway with no natural light…only overhead light…and my flash kept creating really bad shadows), f/2.8, 1/80th ss – this is REALLY low, and I do NOT recommend doing this under normal conditions, but I had them stay perfectly still while I snapped, ISO 2500.
i cannot wait to see how your document the passions and hobbies of your loved one(s). be sure to link up below (and link back to this page or to the joy of love page).
tomorrow’s lesson should be in your inbox around 9 p.m. E.S.T.

Lucky you to have a handy husband. My husband is awesome, but usually ends up doing more damage when he “repairs” things.
Great shot love the processing. Stop by if you can http://flowerphotography1.blogspot.com/
Excellent shot!
Can we rent your hubby? I’m usually the one with grand plans for home improvement projects. I think my hubby is a little tired of my ideas. : )
Personally I love natural shadows in photos.
