Who: anyone who would like to capture their children (or grandchildren) or ANY children for that matter. Any skill level is welcome….from beginner with a point and shoot camera to a professional photographer who has “lost the joy” in photographing his or her own children.
What: this is a 6-week e-journey (on-line class) that you take at your own pace. I will be emailing weekly assignments and posting tutorials each week. You can choose when to do them and when to post your homework. This is a stress-free “journey.” It is all about finding the joy in capturing your kiddos….not about deadlines!
The class format will be on a private forum with a private gallery for all to share their week’s accomplishments.
Each week you will receive homework, a lesson or two (via video or written tutorial), some actions/templates throughout the journey, a glimpse into how I “found the joy” that week, and other inspirations.
When: the JOY begins June 1, 2010. It will last for six weeks.
Where: wherever you are! It is totally online via a private forum/gallery. You can even do it in your underpants!
Why: because you NEED to capture your own children’s childhood. It goes by so fast. Make this the summer of documenting with your camera! And because I’m going to help you find the joy in photographing your own children.
